Latmeet is a social and dating service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
We may collect information that you provide, including:
- Name, email address, password and age.
- City, gender, dating preferences and biography.
- Profile photos, posts, images and videos.
- Messages, likes, follows, matches and reports.
We may also receive technical information such as IP address, browser information, session cookies, access times and security logs.
2. How we use information
- To create and operate your account.
- To display profiles and content to other users.
- To provide matching, messaging and social features.
- To investigate reports, abuse, fraud and security problems.
- To maintain, protect and improve Latmeet.
3. Information visible to others
Your profile information, profile photo and public posts may be visible to other Latmeet users. Private messages are intended only for the participants, except when access is required for safety, legal compliance or investigation of reported abuse.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help operate Latmeet, when required by law, to protect users, or during a business transfer.
5. Data retention
We retain information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance and operation of the service.
6. Your choices
You may update your profile inside Latmeet. You may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law.
7. Security
We use measures such as encrypted HTTPS connections, password hashing, access controls and server backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Age requirement
Latmeet is only for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts.
9. California privacy rights
California residents may have additional privacy rights under applicable law. Contact us to submit a privacy request.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will show when the latest version became effective.
